Export a recipe spec PDF
Canoli can generate three kinds of export from a recipe: a nutrition label PDF, a recipe specification PDF, and a CSV of ingredients and nutrition. All three come from the same recipe menu.
Open the export options
On a recipe, open the recipe menu (the vertical dots icon) for Export Label, Export to CSV, and Export Product Specification, or go to the recipe's Export page directly for the label PDF and CSV.
Export the nutrition label PDF
The label PDF covers the UK/EU back-of-pack nutrition declaration, the FSA front-of-pack traffic light, the EU NutriScore grade, and the US FDA Nutrition Facts panel, one recipe, four pages.
Export the recipe specification PDF
The recipe spec PDF is the document you'd send to a retailer or co-manufacturer. Product specification exports are available on paid plans.
Export a CSV
The CSV export gives you the ingredient list plus per-100g nutrition and per-ingredient contributions as raw data, useful for pulling numbers into a spreadsheet. Unlike the two PDFs, the CSV works on a recipe mid-edit.
Save a version first for the PDFs
Both PDF exports require a saved version. If your recipe has unsaved changes, the export shows as locked with a prompt to save a version first, click Save Version on the recipe, then export. This way, a document a retailer or co-manufacturer refers back to later always matches an exact, immutable snapshot of the recipe.
